With more than 1,100 members, the Sydenham Society is the voice of the community in SE26 and the surrounding area. From planning to transport and the environment, we are involved in a wide range of issues that affect local residents in this part of SE London.
Over the last year the Forest Hill Society and the Sydenham Society have campaigned to maintain our current services to and from London after the introduction of the East London Line in 2010. Last year Network Rail proposed services from 2010 suggesting a significant reduction to London Bridge. There were also doubts about off-peak services to Victoria.

However, new information recently received from Network Rail, via London TravelWatch , suggests that as a result of our continued campaign, most of our concerns about their proposals have now been addressed... <continued>
